A proposed relocation changes the questions around flue routing, pipework, drainage, access and space for future maintenance. Share the existing location and the intended new one before planning cabinetry around an assumed appliance position. A convenient interior position may not be a suitable installation location.

Can a boiler flue be moved on a protected property?
Possibly, but technical suitability and any required consents must both be established. A survey or quotation does not grant permission. Check the specific address and proposed change with the appropriate authority and property owner.
