A noise when heating first starts may need a different investigation from one that continues throughout operation. Note whether it seems to come from a radiator, accessible pipework or the appliance, and whether it began after recent work. A short recording made from a safe position can help explain the symptom.
Noise alone is not proof that the system needs flushing or that a particular component has failed.
